Extender auditioned the Coincident speakers extensively at our showroom. His criterion were:- the speaker must match his home-brew amplifier; sounds great even at low volume (bedroom use) and it’s suitability for his small listening environment. Well, the Coincident speakers got 3 ticks.
The Coincident Triumph Extreme II blended well into the smallish bedroom. Knowing these speakers would sound well even with very little clearance from the back wall, Extender has much free play to position the speakers to his preference.
The speakers are mounted on the heavy, rock-solid optional stand from Coincident. The handsome Extender Feet with oversized spikes (set of 4 per side) are also optional. With the right stand, bookshelf speaker can sound to its full glory.
The flat 8 Ohm, 94 db sensitivity Coincident Triumph Extreme II bookshelf speaker presents a friendly load for even smallish amplifier. But make no mistake, it could rock if you want it to.

Extender’s pet project - building this 20w FirstWatt transistor amplifier from kit. The sound is refine and sweet.
Extender uses his iPhone to remote control the playlist (songs) stored in his PC. The songs are then fed and decoded by the Logitech DAC.
